Home Bio-News Classes Videos The Company Contact Brice Mousset Company was created as a platform for interaction between the audience, dancers and Brice. Direct from France, Brice brings a fresh and innovative perspective of stage, creation, movement and dynamism. Created in the summer 2008 for the opening of the Manhattan Movement Arts Center theater (MMAC), Brice Mousset Company is now the resident company at MMAC. Since then, Brice has collaborated with more than 25 dancers, from young dancers just getting their first company experience to high caliber professionals such as Complexions Contemporary Ballet, So You Think You Can Dance finalists, New York City Ballet, Alvin Ailey and more. The company has performed for numerous theaters and dance festivals: the Alvin Ailey Citi Group, Haiti relief, Performing Art Center Theater, Hatch, Manhattan Movemenet Art Center and STEPS Lab series, as well as numerous special events focused on art in motion. Brice desires to push his company members in a creative direction that challenges their imaginations and physical boundaries. His dancers are encouraged to encounter movement with risk, athleticism, abandon, breath, weight, focus and intention, all uniquely captured in Brice’s innovative choreography.
